Jo Walsh has over 20 years’ experience in the education and care sector. Jo holds a Bachelor of Education, with a major in Early Childhood Education.

Lyndon has worked in the education and care sector for over 15 years. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management.

Dean is responsible for providing accurate and timely Human Resources (HR) advice, support and coaching to Directors, Coordinators, and employees

Jann joined Discovery in September 2021 and is responsible for providing leadership in innovative practice, guidance and oversight to ensure consistent outcomes are achieved across services.

Jackie started working for Discovery in January 2012 when the Ulverstone service was first opened. She was the Office Administrator in the centre for 3 years before moving into a Head Office role full time.

Pam has a Diploma in Children’s Services and has worked in the Early Education and Care sector for many years, firstly working in Family Day Care and Kentish Childcare in Sheffield before moving to Hobart and joining Discovery in 2008.

Melissa started her journey with Discovery early 2019, and lead the team at the Launceston Early Learning Centre before taking on the Manager position.

Sally Reynolds has been working with Discovery since 2015 at the Head Office in Ulverstone.

Traci has been in the Early Childhood Education and Care Sector for over 35 years and joined Discovery in 2023 to support the southern services as the second Manager for Quality, Culture and Operations.

Sarah has been in the Early Childhood Sector for over 14 years and is committed to supporting the provision of high quality education and care for children in our service’s communities.

Adrian joined Discovery at the beginning of 2021 in the role of Facilities Manager; responsible for the company’s infrastructure across the state.

In 2024 Una took on the role as Manager, Connection and Engagement - working closely with services across the state to build connections both within services and with the communities we work in.

Kim has been involved in the early childhood sector for over thirty-five years, rejoining Discovery in 2024 to coordinate the organisation's child safety initiatives and actions.

Lizzie has been with Discovery for over 11 years. Lizzie's position is based within the Strategy team, she is an advocate for the ECEC sector, educators and our leadership teams.

Wade joined Discovery in 2024 to coordinate the organisation's exciting building and capital works projects within our communities

Andrea, Amanda and Kirsten offer extensive human resource support for our services - with their combined experience and expertise they support the entire employee journey within Discovery.
