Pam Braid

Pam has a Diploma in Children’s Services and has worked in the Early Education and Care sector for many years. Pam started in the sector in Family Day Care and Kentish Childcare in Sheffield before moving to Hobart and joining Discovery in 2008. Her journey with Discovery began at the Gunn Street centre as a Room Leader before becoming Co-Director at Discovery Dominic. In 2013 Pam returned home to the North-West Coast of Tasmania, taking her position in Head Office as part of the management team. As Manager of Support Services, Pam is responsible for managing the background operating systems for all Discovery services across the state - this includes family accounts, childcare subsidy for families, inclusion support claims, as well as organising and scheduling mandatory training for all educators, assisting centre Directors with rostering, budgets and WWVP registrations.

Outside of work Pam dedicates a lot of her time to her 4 children and 6 grandchildren and enjoys travelling.
