Wade Purton

Wade joined Discovery in 2024 as the Building Projects Coordinator, to coordinate Discovery's exciting building and capital work projects within our communities. He brings with him over 15 years' experience in the building industry together with previous employment in business development and systems/project management. Wade has a broad spectrum of experience marked by a dynamic journey through various industries, giving him the experience and expertise required to foster both the collaboration and innovation required to achieve Discovery's vision to continue to create state-of-the-art early learning centres in Tasmania.

Wade has spent many years volunteering in various roles within Surf Life Saving and over 20 years volunteering with the Camp Quality Organisation. Living on the Northwest Coast of Tasmania, Wade enjoys sharing the active Tasmanian outdoor lifestyle with his family and can be spotted on the beach patrolling between the flags in summer.
