Dean Pitt

Dean Pitt joined Discovery in September 2024 in the role of Manager – People and Culture, and is responsible for providing accurate and timely Human Resources (HR) advice, support and coaching to Directors, Coordinators, and employees to ensure the organisational Vision, Mission, Philosophy, Values, and Strategic Direction are achieved across all services.

Dean holds a Master of Human Resource Management, Diploma of Management, and a Certificate IV Training and Assessment. Dean is also a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.

Dean has worked in the Community sector for over 15 years, predominately working in the disability field. Dean is passionate about creating a sense of belonging, and making sure that Discovery is the place where people want to be.

Outside of work Dean enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and travelling and is an enthusiastic footy and basketball supporter.
