2025 - A Year of Belonging, Growth, and Impact

2025 was a remarkable year for Discovery Early Learning Centres, shaped by strong leadership, meaningful progress, and a deep commitment to one of our Values - We All Belong.

Throughout the year, we strengthened our focus on creating safe, inclusive, and inspiring environments where children, families, and educators feel genuinely valued and supported.

Reconciliation in Action

Reconciliation remained at the heart of our work. We enhanced everyday practices that honour Aboriginal culture and perspectives, introduced Place Name signage across our services, and proudly supported statewide Reconciliation initiatives. Our teams continued to engage in learning, reflection, and connection to Country, reinforcing our long-term commitment to respect and understanding.

Belonging and Inclusion

Belonging defined our organisational journey in 2025. Through our We All Belong Project, we celebrated diversity, elevated cultural safety, and strengthened inclusive workplace practices. Multilingual signage, Cultural Safety Plans, and initiatives supporting respectful and equitable environments helped ensure every child, family, and educator feels seen and supported.

Investing in Our People

Our educators and leaders remained our greatest strength. Significant investments in professional learning supported growth across child safety, trauma-informed practice, neurodiversity, wellbeing, and leadership. Career pathways expanded through traineeships and leadership programs, strengthening the future of our workforce.

Child Safety and Wellbeing

Child safety continued to guide every decision. New initiatives strengthened protective practices, amplified children’s voices, and reinforced a culture where everyone shares responsibility for safety and care.

Growth and Community Connection

2025 also marked exciting progress in our growth, including developments at Legana and Kings Meadows and the opening of Legana OSHC. Across all services, our partnerships and community contributions remained a vital part of who we are.

As we look ahead, our direction remains clear: to continue growing with purpose, supporting our people, and delivering high-quality education and care where children and families can truly thrive.
