Legana Outside School Hours Care offers Before School Care and After School Care, operating from Legana Primary School. Our Before School and After School Care services are inviting and welcoming environments offering programs that are responsive to the interests and needs of school age children.

Meals

Our service provides breakfast for Before School Care, and afternoon tea for children attending After School Care. Our menu is designed to take into account children’s likes, dislikes and special dietary requirements, using Move Well Eat Well recommendations.

    Melissa Johnston

    Melissa started her journey with Discovery early 2019, leading the team in the Launceston Early Learning centre when it first opened before taking on the Manager's role for the whole Northern region. Relationships are one of the most important components of the work that Melissa does and considers this to be a high priority for the team that represents Discovery. She views relationships as the foundation in achieving better outcomes for children, their families and the educators.
