Kings Meadows Early Learning Centre is a child-centred and architecturally designed Long Day Care and Outside School Hours Care centre located in the heart of Kings Meadows, close to schools, sports and amenities.
The innovative design of the Early Learning Centre provides a nurturing environment that encourages connection, curiosity and imagination. The repurposed television station has been creatively reimagined to utilise the historical character of the building, while prioritising safety, fun and comfort, where children can develop essential skills in a supportive setting.
Through promoting a culture of learning and connection, Kings Meadows will not only enhance educational opportunities, but also create a supportive network where individuals and families can thrive. We aim to contribute to a brighter future for all children, encouraging lifelong learning and meaningful relationships within our community.

Meals
Our services employ qualified chefs to prepare nutritional meals, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea depending on your child's session time. Seasonal rotating menus are designed to take into account children’s likes and dislikes, special dietary requirements and the Australian Dietary and Infant Feeding Guidelines.
Discovery services are Move Well Eat Well accredited service.
Additional Programs
MOVEMENT TO MUSIC
Opportunities for a local music therapists to attend the service each week to help children in areas of development including: fine motor skills through action songs and instrument playing, gross motor coordination through dance, and development of rhythm.
YOGA
Regular yoga sessions to help children increase their confidence, build concentration and strengthen their growing bodies. Yoga helps build core strength for good posture and overall physical fitness as well as many social, emotional and cognitive benefits.
Active Children - agility, co-ordination and teamwork
Active sports sessions designed to develop children’s agility, co-ordination and teamwork skills. These programs offer challenging and engaging tasks, games, movement patterns and skill development for children with a focus on gross motor development.
Excursions
The Discovery bus enables regular opportunities to go on excursions and strengthen links with the local community. These excursions expose children to a range of different experiences and enable them to further connect with their community. Children also have the opportunity to enjoy regular walking excursions to a variety of locations.

DirectorRebecca Willis
Rebecca joined Discovery in 2026, bringing over 20 years’ experience across roles including educator, inclusion support, Assistant Director, Educational Leader and Director. She is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging environments where children feel safe, valued and confident. Rebecca is committed to safeguarding children and supporting their growth through meaningful relationships, play-based learning and responsive, strengths‑based practices, where their voices and wellbeing are prioritised.
